Russia's Field Pea Exports Post Better Performance
PANAMA - Jul 9/19 - SNS -- Russia's exports of field peas during April showed modest gains, advancing compared to the previous month, according to data from Federal Customs Service of Russia.
Total shipments throughout the month reached 55,930 metric tons (MT), up 8% from the previous month's total of 51,836. So far export sales have totalled 175,643 MT, down from 380,191 in the same period the last calendar year.
The top importer during the month was Pakistan, receiving 12,004 MT. India was the second most important buyer buying 9,655 MT, followed by Bangladesh at 8,701 MT.
