China's Kidney Bean Exports Continue Soft Tendency
PANAMA - Jul 8/19 - SNS -- Shipments of kidney beans for China shrank relative to the previous month in May, recent data from General Customs Administration of China shows.
Total exports for the month reached 10,029 metric tons (MT), down 75% from the previous month's total of 40,071. So far shipments have amounted to 87,845 MT, down from 124,118 in the same period the last calendar year.
The largest destination throughout the month was India, receiving 4,646 MT. Italy was the second most important destination receiving 912 MT, followed by Costa Rica at 763 MT.
