No Significant Change in Beans

PANAMA - Jul 5/19 - SNS -- International dry edible bean markets were virtually unchanged under relatively light trading conditions during the past week.

North American markets were especially quiet because of a holiday shortened trading week on account of Canada Day and U.S. Independence Day holidays.

As a result the U.S. spot index for beans finish the week down 0.6 points at 114.9. By contrast, the Canadian pulse price index inched up 0.1 points to finish at 127.7, while the world pulse price index lost 0.8 points to close at 137.9.
