Spain's Field Pea Imports Maintain Easy Tone
PANAMA - Jun 18/19 - SNS -- Imports of field peas by Spain shrank compared to the previous month in April, official trade data from Eurostat reveals.
Imports totalled 635 metric tons (MT) in the month, down 91% from the 7,409 MT shipped the previous month. Imports so far total 21,953 MT, versus 47,045 during the last calendar year.
France was the top shipper, selling 581 MT. Canada was the second most important shipper shipping 48 MT, followed by Belgium at 3 MT.
