Lentils Exports From Australia Reveal Improved Oucome
PANAMA - Jun 6/19 - SNS -- So far during the marketing year posted a stronger performance, with lentils movement from Australia advanced a little relative to the previous month in April, judging from official data from Australia Bureau of Statistics.
Export sales during the month reached 17,387 metric tons (MT), up from 16,878 MT the prior month. This boosted shipments so far during the marketing year to 118,286, down 59% last year.
Bangladesh was the number one consumer, buying 12,967 MT. Sri Lanka was the second most important consumer receiving 1,884 MT, followed by India at 1,490 MT.
