Australia's Broadbean Exports Continue Easy Trend
PANAMA - Jun 6/19 - SNS -- Export shipments of broadbeans for Australia plunged relative to the previous month in April, available data from Australia Bureau of Statistics shows.
Total exports in the month amounted to 23,644 metric tons (MT), down 63% from the previous month's total of 64,761. So far export sales have amounted to 233,530 MT, down from 235,718 during the last marketing year.
Egypt was the number one consumer for the month, taking 14,186 MT. Saudi Arabia was the second most important consumer buying 4,612 MT, followed by United Arab Emirates at 1,086 MT.
