Confection Sunflower Exports From Bulgaria Post Soft Opening
PANAMA - May 16/19 - SNS -- Bulgaria's shipments of confection sunflowers during March fell sharply compared to the previous month, according to data from Eurostat.
Shipments for the month totalled 9,535 metric tons (MT), down from 31,431 MT the prior month. This increased exports so far during the calendar year to 78,682, up 37% last year.
United States was the top importer for the month, receiving 3,395 MT. China was the second most important consumer buying 1,097 MT, followed by Australia at 710 MT.
