Oil-type Sunflower Imports By France Open On Firm Note

PANAMA - Apr 17/19 - SNS -- At this point in the current calendar year on a a firmer tendency, with oil-type sunflower imports by France were up sharply, leaping relative to the previous month in February, judging from the latest data from Eurostat.

Total imports throughout the month amounted to 91,095 metric tons (MT), up 123% from the previous month's total of 40,826. So far imports have amounted to 131,921 MT, up from 1,445 during the previous calendar year.

The latest trade data revealed Romania was most important export origin, selling 72,413 MT. Bulgaria was the second most important supplier supplying 17,244 MT, followed by Spain at 1,270 MT.
