Slovakia's Oil-type Sunflower Exports Open On Weak Note

PANAMA - Apr 17/19 - SNS -- Slovakia's export shipments of oil-type sunflowers in February posted massive declines, sinking compared to the previous month, judging from data from Eurostat.

Movement totalled 24 metric tons (MT) in the month, down 100% from the 17,593 MT exported the previous month. Export sales so far total 17,617 MT, versus 23,648 in the same period the last calendar year.

The biggest destination for the month was Switzerland, taking 24 MT. was the second most important importer receiving 0 MT, followed by at 0 MT.
