Mung Bean Exports From China Post A Improved Result

PANAMA - Apr 14/19 - SNS -- Movement of mung beans for China were up significantly, rising relative to the previous month in January, recent data from General Customs Administration of China reports.

Export sales during the opening month of the calendar year totalled 10,963 metric tons (MT), up 38% from 7,966 MT the previous month. The data revealed exports is down 28% from the 15,294 MT recorded during the same month last year.

Japan was the most important buyer for the month, taking 4,258 MT. Vietnam was the second most important buyer buying 3,528 MT, followed by United States at 1,573 MT.
