Mixed Week in Mustard Seed
PANAMA - Mar 29/19 - SNS -- North American mustard seed markets registered a mixed performance during the past week, with yellow and brown holding steady while oriental was easier in seasonally light trading activity.
Average new crop bids to farms continued to hold their premiums during the past week, reflecting efforts by processors and exporters to at least maintain production levels.
Even so, there is some uncertainty about how much will be sown this year because of the possibility for significant shifts in the mix of crops planted in western Canada.
