India Sets Import Quotas

DELHI - Mar 31/19 - SNS -- The Indian government established quantitative import limits for several types of pulses for its 2019-20 fiscal year ending on March 31, 2020.

The quotas were set at 150,000 metric tons (MT) for field peas, mung beans, and urad or black mapte beans. It was unclear in the official announcement if the quota for pigeon peas is 200,000 or 20,000 MT.
