WASHINGTON - Mar 29/19 - SNS -- Area expected to be planted to sugarbeets for the 2019 crop year is estimated at 1.12 million acres, up 1% from 2018, according to this year's USDA seeding intentions report.
Intended plantings are above the previous year in 7 of the 11 estimating States.
