Canada's Canaryseed Exports Open On Strong Tone
PANAMA - Mar 27/19 - SNS -- Movement of canaryseeds from Canada recorded smallgains, rising versus the previous month in January, data from Statistics Canada reports.
The updated statistics showed exports during the month totalled 10,746 metric tons (MT), up 3% from 10,483 the previous month. Versus the same month last year, export sales were up 7% from 69,691 MT.
The most recent movement statistics showed Mexico was largest consumer, taking 4,255 MT. Egypt was the second most important buyer buying 520 MT, followed by Spain at 479 MT.
