Soybean Imports By Greece Record A Strong Result
PANAMA - Mar 20/19 - SNS -- Imports of soybeans for Greece posted decent increases, moving versus the previous month in January, the most recent data from Eurostat shows.
Imports during the first month of the calendar year totalled 23,803 metric tons (MT), up 5% from 22,580 MT the previous month. The statistics showed imports was down 26% from the 32,011 MT reported during the same month last year.
The most important shipper for the month was United States, shipping 23,800 MT. Belgium was the second most important origin shipping 2 MT, followed by Netherlands at 0 MT.
