Germany's Oil-type Sunflower Imports Start With Easy Note
PANAMA - Mar 20/19 - SNS -- Imports of oil-type sunflowers for Germany shrank relative to the previous month in January, the most recent data from Eurostat reveals.
Imports for the first month of the calendar year totalled 114 metric tons (MT), down 99% from 9,542 MT the previous month. The data revealed imports is down 99% from the 11,378 MT reported during the same month last year.
Ukraine was the top supplier, selling 47 MT. Moldova was the second most important export origin supplying 43 MT, followed by Egypt at 23 MT.
