Spain's Field Pea Imports Open On Easy Note
PANAMA - Mar 20/19 - SNS -- Spain's imports of field peas during January sank versus the previous month, according to data from Eurostat.
The latest statistics showed imports during the month totalled 186 metric tons (MT), down 100% from 71,903 the previous month. Versus the same month last year, imports were down 98% from 8,901 MT.
Current movement statistics reported Canada was biggest shipper, supplying 159 MT during the month. China was the second most important exporter selling 21 MT, followed by United States at 4 MT.
