Oil-type Sunflower Imports By Netherlands Start With Soft Tone
PANAMA - Mar 20/19 - SNS -- Imports of oil-type sunflowers for Netherlands shrank compared to the previous month in January, recent data from Eurostat shows.
The latest statistics showed imports for the month totalled 68 metric tons (MT), down 100% from 43,865 the previous month. Compared to the same month last year, imports were down 100% from 117,609 MT.
Recent trade data showed China was most important exporter, shipping 45 MT in the month. Egypt was the second most important supplier supplying 20 MT, followed by United States at 2 MT.
