Soybean Imports By Belgium Record A Improved Result

PANAMA - Mar 20/19 - SNS -- Imports of soybeans for Belgium recorded solid gains, moving upward compared to the previous month in January, available data from Eurostat shows.

The most recent statistics showed imports for the month totalled 36,137 metric tons (MT), up 43% from 25,204 the previous month. Compared to the same month last year, imports are down 20% from 45,291 MT.

The latest trade statistics showed Canada was most important export origin, shipping 17,778 MT. United States was the second most important supplier shipping 16,093 MT, followed by India at 2,047 MT.
