Lithuania's Broadbean Exports Open On Soft Tone

PANAMA - Mar 20/19 - SNS -- Lithuania's shipments of broadbeans during January fell sharply versus the previous month, according to data from Eurostat.

Shipments during the first month of the calendar year totalled 2,644 metric tons (MT), down 66% from 7,681 MT the previous month. The statistics revealed exports was down 80% from the 13,198 MT reported during the same month last year.

Egypt was the biggest destination, receiving 2,264 MT. Germany was the second most important importer buying 125 MT, followed by Austria at 119 MT.
