Field Pea Exports From Canada Reveal Soft Month
PANAMA - Mar 6/19 - SNS -- Movement of field peas for Canada were slightly lower, falling compared to the previous month in December, trade data from Statistics Canada reports.
Total movement during the month amounted to 235,797 metric tons (MT) , down 13% from the previous month's total of 270,453. So far export sales have amounted to 1,378,226 MT, up from 1,281,254 during the last marketing year.
was the number one consumer, buying 0 MT. China was the second most important destination buying 104,574 MT, followed by Bangladesh at 56,803 MT.
