Canaryseed Exports From Canada Record Easy Month
PANAMA - Mar 6/19 - SNS -- So far during the current marketing year revealed a weaker performance, with canaryseed movement from Canada were well down, plunging compared to the previous month in December, judging from the latest data from Statistics Canada.
Total export sales for the month amounted to 10,483 metric tons (MT) , down 49% from the previous month's total of 20,644. So far shipments have reached 64,003 MT, up from 60,396 during the last marketing year.
The number one importer for the month was Colombia, taking 1,457 MT. Brazil was the second most important consumer receiving 1,390 MT, followed by Mexico at 1,270 MT.
