Kidney Bean Exports From Canada Record Weak Month
PANAMA - Mar 6/19 - SNS -- Canada's shipments of kidney beans during December eased versus the previous month, according to data from Statistics Canada.
Total exports throughout the month amounted to 9,709 metric tons (MT) , down 19% from the previous month's total of 12,053. So far export sales have totalled 53,779 MT, up from 43,311 during the last marketing year.
In the month, was the number one destination, receiving 0 MT. United Kingdom was the second most important buyer receiving 3,578 MT, followed by New Zealand at 562 MT.
