USDA Sets March Interest Rates

WASHINGTON - Mar 1/19 - SNS -- The USDA's Commodity Credit Corporation set interest rates for March 2019, which are effective March 1 – March 31, 2019.

The Commodity Credit Corporation borrowing rate-based charge for March is 2.625%, the same as 2.625% in February.

The interest rate for crop year commodity loans less than one year disbursed during March is 3.625%, the same as 3.625% in February. Interest rates for Farm Storage Facility Loans approved for March are as follows: 2.500% with three-year loan terms, the same as 2.500 in February; 2.500% with five-year loan terms, the same as 2.500% in February; 2.625% with seven-year loan terms, the same as 2.625% in February; 2.750% with 10-year loan terms, the same as 2.750% in February and; 2.750% with 12-year loan terms, the same as 2.750% in February. The interest rate for 15-year Sugar Storage Facility Loans for March is 2.750, down from 2.875% in February.
