Oil-type Sunflower Exports From Bulgaria Extend Soft Trend
PANAMA - Feb 22/19 - SNS -- Bulgaria's export shipments of oil-type sunflowers in December shrank compared to the previous month, judging from data from Eurostat.
Export sales totalled 2,871 metric tons (MT) for the month, down 92% from the 36,876 MT shipped the previous month. Export sales so far total 341,232 MT, compared to 449,820 during the previous calendar year.
The largest destination throughout the month was Turkey, receiving 2,008 MT. United States was the second most important destination buying 294 MT, followed by Australia at 144 MT.
