Soybean Imports From Spain Extend Weak Tendency

PANAMA - Feb 22/19 - SNS -- Spain's imports of soybeans during December eased compared to the previous month, according to data from Eurostat.

Total imports during the month reached 270,854 metric tons (MT) , down 3% from the previous month's total of 279,954. So far imports have amounted to 3,384,617 MT, unchanged from 3,392,830 during the previous calendar year.

The latest movement statistics reported United States was biggest supplier, supplying 248,268 MT. Ukraine was the second most important origin selling 20,000 MT, followed by Uganda at 2,420 MT.
