Netherlands's Oil-type Sunflower Imports Record Soft Performance
PANAMA - Feb 22/19 - SNS -- So far during the current calendar year posted a weaker month, with oil-type sunflower imports for Netherlands plunged relative to the previous month in December, judging from the latest data from Eurostat.
Total imports for the month reached 13,256 metric tons (MT) , down 68% from the previous month's total of 41,616. So far imports have amounted to 899,750 MT, up from 590,486 in the same period the previous calendar year.
For the month, Other was the most important supplier, supplying 13,252 MT. China was the second most important export origin selling 3 MT, followed by Syria at 1 MT.
