Field Pea Exports From Lithuania Reveal Soft Month
PANAMA - Feb 22/19 - SNS -- So far during this calendar year recorded a easier performance, with field pea export shipments for Lithuania were well down, plunging relative to the previous month in December, according to data from Eurostat.
Total export sales throughout the month reached 12,150 metric tons (MT) , down 23% from the previous month's total of 15,767. So far export sales have amounted to 269,492 MT, up from 188,340 during the last calendar year.
Germany was the largest destination, taking 5,906 MT. Norway was the second most important importer receiving 3,092 MT, followed by India at 1,492 MT.
