Argentina's Black Bean Exports Record Slow Month
PANAMA - Feb 19/19 - SNS -- Argentina's export shipments of black beans during December were little changed, dropping compared to the previous month, judging from data from Instituto Nacional de Estadistica y Censos.
Total movement throughout the month reached 11,903 metric tons (MT) , down 13% from the previous month's total of 13,619. So far export sales have amounted to 143,446 MT, up from 141,924 during the previous calendar year.
Brazil was the most important destination during the month, buying 6,602 MT. Venezuela was the second most important importer receiving 3,833 MT, followed by Chile at 855 MT.
