PANAMA - Feb 15/19 - SNS -- International chickpea markets finished the week on a mixed note, with kabuli markets holding steady but desi easing.
Desi chickpea exporters are worried recent improvements in weather conditions in Pakistan will limit demand from that country.
While there are reports of damage to India's kabuli chickpea crops, exporters are hoping the second advance estimates, expected later this month, will provide supportive fundamental news.
