American Green Pea Exports Reveal Better Performance
PANAMA - Feb 6/19 - SNS -- Movement of green peas from U.S. were up significantly, rising versus the previous month in November, the most recent data from U.S. Department of Commerce shows.
Export sales totalled 7,065 metric tons (MT) during the month, up 43% from the 4,936 MT exported the previous month. Export sales so far total 25,935 MT, compared to 43,039 during the previous marketing year.
The latest trade data revealed Canada was number one destination, receiving 2,653 MT. Philippines was the second most important importer buying 1,301 MT, followed by India at 1,215 MT.
