American Dark Red Kidney Bean Exports Post Weak Performance
PANAMA - Feb 6/19 - SNS -- So far during this marketing year recorded a weaker month, with dark red kidney bean movement from U.S. dropped relative to the previous month in November, judging from the latest statistics from U.S. Department of Commerce.
Export sales reached 4,737 metric tons (MT) in the month, down 6% from the 5,026 MT exported the previous month. Movement so far total 11,749 MT, versus 11,444 during the previous marketing year.
The most recent trade statistics reported was biggest buyer, buying 0 MT. Italy was the second most important importer receiving 1,778 MT, followed by Belgium at 649 MT.
