Millet Exports From U.S. Sustain Solid Performance

PANAMA - Feb 6/19 - SNS -- So far during the marketing year are maintaining their stronger tone, with millet shipments from U.S. were up significantly, rising compared to the previous month in November, according to trade data from U.S. Department of Commerce.

Shipments reached 8,258 metric tons (MT) in the month, up 38% from the 5,975 MT shipped the previous month. Movement so far total 19,652 MT, compared to 12,083 during the previous marketing year.

The most recent movement statistics showed Indonesia was number one importer, taking 5,630 MT. Canada was the second most important destination buying 1,354 MT, followed by Thailand at 266 MT.
