Crop Reports Help Lentils

PANAMA - Dec 7/18 - SNS -- Lentil markets were helped by steady demand during the past week and a smaller than initially expected crop in Canada.

Production of all classes dropped from 2.29 to 1.89 million MT in Saskatchewan, Alberta's harvest fell from 264,400 to 199,600 MT, while output in other provinces slipped from 1,000 to 800 MT.
