Birdseeds Continue To Firm
PANAMA - Nov 30/18 - SNS -- Birdseed ingredient markets maintaining their firmer under tone through the past week, helped by modest advances in spot asking prices for white proso millet and oil type sunflower in some locations.
Canadian canaryseed was little changed, with markets looking for the final production estimate from Statistics Canada for some clarity on available stocks for the balance of the marketing campaign.
Data from provincial crop insurance agencies support the view that seeded area is down significantly from last season.
