Lentils Face Buyers Market
PANAMA - Oct 26/18 - SNS -- International lentil markets finished the week's trading with a weak undertone with offers from sellers pushing ahead of the needs of buyers.
Many exporters believe there is a clear oversupply of both red and green lentils relative to prospective demand, resulting in more aggressive pricing and a willingness to more readily accept bids from buyers.
Grower bids, however, are not yet following the lead of export markets, suggesting they are being supported by nearby short covering by processors and exporters.
