Another Mixed Week in Beans

PANAMA - Sep 28/18 - SNS -- The world's dry edible bean markets once again finished the week's trading on mixed note against improved availability of new crop product in North America and disinterest by many end users.

This was reflected in the U.S. spot index for beans, which slipped 1.0 points on the week to finish at 114.5. Other major pulse price indices posted a firmer finish for the week.

The Canadian pulse price index gained 0.7 points to finish at 123.9. The world pulse price index was up 0.8 points at 131.
