Some Price Polarization in Beans

PANAMA - Sep 14/18 - SNS -- Dry edible bean markets finished the week's trading on a mixed note, with markets for small caliber white beans under some pressure from Argentina.

This was reflected in the U.S. spot index for beans, which lost 1.2 points on the week to finish at 116. Other major pulse price indices also finished the week on an easier tone.

The Canadian pulse price index slipped 0.4 points to finish at 122.2. The world pulse price index also slipped 0.4 points on the week to finish at 130.1.
