Mixed Week In Dry Beans
PANAMA - Aug 24/18 - SNS -- Dry edible bean markets posted a mixed performance during the past week, with some minor classes helped by improved demand for fall shipping periods.
This was reflected in the U.S. spot index for beans, which slipped 0.2 points on the week to finish at 114.4. Other major pulse price indices finished the week on an firmer tone.
The Canadian pulse price index lost 1.5 points to finish at 120.5. The world pulse price index dropped 3.3 points on the week to finish at 139.4.
