VANCOUVER - Aug 1/18 - STAT -- Canadian Richlea Lentil markets finished the 2017-18 marketing year with prices falling 26% below the recent three year average annual price on inter-dealer markets in that country.
The average trading level for Richlea Lentil was USD$30.94 per 100 pounds (cwt), compared to an average annual market value of $41.87 during the previous three year period for machine dressed merchandise packed in bags delivered to Montreal.
Analysis of the monthly price pattern reveals the highest monthly average was $41.10 per cwt in August, while the lowest monthly average trading level was $23.94 per cwt in July.
