Easier Note in Peas
PANAMA - Jul 14/18 - SNS -- -- Field pea markets finished the week's trading on an easier note, reflecting both slowing demand and uncertainty about price prospects for livestock feed ingredients.
The export feed market has again become an important outlet for peas, with the result events affecting soybean meal, corn and other livestock feed ingredients have become important.
Given uncertain demand prospects for India until at least 2019, feed markets have become important for bringing global inventories in line with the needs of food grade pea users and the fractionation industry.
