Lentils Little Changed

PANAMA - Jul 14/18 - SNS -- Few changes were reported in lentil markets during the past week, though asking prices for spot product is coming in line with new crop.

Many market participants attended last week's Canada Special Crops Association annual meeting in Regina, Saskatchewan. That, along with the fact it is the traditional summer holiday season for European traders, is limiting trading activity.

Concern continues about the impact higher than normal temperatures will have on the yield potential of this year's Canadian harvest. Even so, crops are considered in generally better condition than they were at this time last year.
