Mixed Week in Dry Beans
PANAMA - Jul 6/18 - SNS -- International dry edible bean markets finished the week's trading unchanged to mixed note in a holiday shortened trading week.
This was reflected in the U.S. spot index for beans, which rose 0.8 points on the week to finish at 121.2. Other major pulse price indices finished the week mixed. The Canadian pulse price index slipped 0.1 points to finish at 133 while the world pulse price index was unchanged on the week 133.8.
This year's dry edible bean harvest has been advancing at a slower than hoped pace in Argentina because shower activity is keeping growers out of their fields.}
