WASHINGTON - Jun 29/18 - SNS -- Area planted to sugarbeets for the 2018 crop year is estimated at 1.12 million acres, down 1% from 2017, according to the USDA's seeded area estimates for this year. Harvested area is forecast at 1.09 million acres, down 2% from last year.
