Steady Bulk Pea Movement

PANAMA - Jun 15/18 - SNS -- Field pea markets were little changed against steady movement of product from farms to port locations to cover higher than normal export demand to China and other destinations.

India remains largely absent from Canadian markets, but the resulting effect on prices has opened new demand from China's livestock feed sector.

The key uncertainties are how close the seeding intentions were to the actual seeded area, the evolving weather situation, and the willingness of farmers to participate in the market.
