WASHINGTON - Jun 12/18 - SNS --- Seeding of dry edible bean crops in the United States made relatively good progress through the past week, with progress in several regions entering its final stages.
Judging from state level reports, around 85% of this year's intended crop is now in the ground, compared to 73% at this time last year and the recent average of 72% complete by the end of the first week of June.
Crops are emerging in most areas and generally rated in good condition.
