Birdseeds Remain Firm
PANAMA - Jun 8/18 - SNS -- Birdseed ingredient markets continued to show strength through the past week, led by U.S. sunflower and millet.
Confection sunflower bids to farmers were unchanged on the week. Spot markets for Canadian canaryseed were also unchanged. However, new crop values advanced, narrowing price spreads between spot and new crop shipping positions.
The U.S. based National Sunflower Association noted that oil sunflower markets were unchanged to up 10 cents per pound in spot shipping positions.
