Little Change in Mustard

PANAMA - May 18/18 - SNS -- North American mustard seed markets were little changed in seasonally light trade during the past week.

Grower bids in Canada were unchanged, though slipping 1% in U.S. dollar terms because of week over week changes in the value of the Canadian dollar.

Despite a delayed start, seeding of this year's crop is making good progress in Canada as farmers take advantage of rapidly drying soils. By the middle of May, 39% of the crop was in the ground, compared to 42% last year and the recent five year average of 36% sown,
