Easier Tone in Mustard Seed

PANAMA - Apr 21/18 - SNS -- Prices paid to Canadian mustard seed growers finished the week unchanged in local currency terms, though week over week decline sin the value of the Canadian dollar improved the competitive position of processors and exporters.

This saw grower bids decline 1% in U.S. dollar terms for all three classes of mustard seed.

Grower bids for brown ranged up to U.S. 31.5 cents per pound at week's end, compared to 31.8 cents the previous week. Bids for yellow and oriental finished the week at U.S. 27.5 and 22.8 cents per pound respectively.
