Chance For Increased Bean Area
PANAMA - Apr 6/18 - SNS -- The outlook for dry edible bean area in the United States and Canada became murkier as China and the United States veer toward a trade war.
This was not reflected in markets in the United States, with the U.S. spot index for beans finishing inching up 0.5 points on the week to finish at 122.3.
Other major pulse price indices finished the week with an easier undertone because of anxiety over India. The Canadian pulse price index slipped 0.2 points to finish the week at 145.2, while the world pulse price index dipped 0.3 points to close at 130.8.
